# Analysair

An air quality monitor built around a Sensirion SEN66, on a custom PCB.


Analysair is an air quality monitor I am designing at the moment. The sensing is done by a Sensirion SEN66, which covers particulate matter, VOCs, NOx, CO₂, temperature and humidity in a single module. One part means a short bill of materials and firmware that only has to talk to one well-documented device.

The board is a custom PCB, not a dev kit on a breadboard. That is deliberate. I want to do the schematic, the layout, the bring-up and the firmware myself, which is the part of the [Drone](/projects/drone/) I enjoyed most and have not done since.

## Status

In design. Nothing is built, so there is nothing to report about it working yet. I will write it up as it goes: schematic and layout first, then bring-up, then the firmware.
